An open call for submissions from area artists in all mediums.
The Greenville Artist Guild’s Annual Autumn Exhibition
This juried exhibition will feature artwork from local artists that considers the concept of two natures, with polarities and contrasts, black/white, male/female, flesh/spirit, future/past, and more. Dualities can also be of substance, of spirituality, of science, of time, of the space between (liminality). Juror: TBD

Exhibition dates:
October 4th through October 25th
Place: Piety’s Art Gallery, 122 S. Second St. Greenville, IL 62246
Opening Reception: Oct 4th, 7pm to 10:00 pm during the ARTWALK
Gallery Hours: Wed-Fri, 1-5 pm, Sat 10 am-2 pm
Eligibility: Open to all artists18 years and above.
Jurors & The Jurying Process:
Juror TBD., Check website. Judging is done by
electronic photo. Please crop photos so that only the artwork is visible (no frames). High resolution JPEGs only, please. (Most camera files are JPEG. ) Title each JPEG file to correspond to image # on the entry form using the following format: yourlastname.image#. jpg. Label CD’s with artist’s full name and mail in protective case. Works selected for exhibition that are not accurately depicted or have been altered may be removed from the exhibit at Juror’s discretion. Juror’s decision is final. If you cannot submit electronically, please call 618-975-0243 to make other arrangements.
Notification: Notification of accepted work will be sent by Sept 20 - 23 by phone or email.
Entry Fee: $7 per work, non-refundable, limit 3.

Specifications: Limit 3 original artworks in all techniques & mediums. No ceiling installed work. 2D works should be framed, or have clean edge presentation & be ready to hang with WIRE across the back approximately ¼ to ⅓ of the way down the frame. No clip frames allowed. NO sawtooth hangers.
Sales: 30% commission to Piety’s Art Gallery.
Awards: First prize: $50. 2nd: $25. & 3rd: $15
Publicity: The Greenville Artist Guild reserves the right to photograph all exhibited works and use submitted artwork photos for exhibit promotion on the web and social media.
Delivery: Artworks juried into exhibit are to be hand-delivered to Piety’s Art Gallery on Sept 27, 28, 1-5 pm & Oct 1, 10-2 pm.
Pick up: Work may be picked up at the end of the show, Oct 26 from 10-2 pm and Oct 30 from 1-5 pm. Exhibited works may not be removed until October 26th. ALL works MUST be removed from the Gallery by Oct 30th. Alternate pickup dates MAY be arranged.
Work that is not picked up will become the property of the The Greenville Artist Guild.
