Annual Greenville Artist Guild's Christmas Exhibition

“GRAB & GO SHOW”

An open call for submissions from area artists in all mediums.

Local works of beauty and thoughtfulness are being presented for your pleasure and sold for this holiday event. It is a "Grab and Go" show. Pieces can be purchased and removed any time during the event.

If you cannot submit electronically, please call or text 618-975-0243 to make other arrangements. This is NOT a juried show. Final approval for all work is the decision of the guild board. No commission taken.

Opening Reception: Sat Nov 21st, 6-8 pm

Exhibition dates:

• Friday, Nov 21, 12-8 pm, (reception)

• Saturday, Nov 22, 12-6 pm,

Place: Bradford Community Room, 110 N. 1st St, Greenville, IL 62246

Eligibility: Open to all artists 18 years and above. Please crop photos so that only the artwork is visible (no frames). High resolution JPEGs only, please. (Most camera files are JPEG.) Title each JPEG file to correspond to image # on the entry form using the following format: yourlastname. image#. jpg. If you cannot submit electronically, call or text 618-975-0243 to make other arrange-ments.

Notification: If your work is declined by the board you will be notified by phone or email.

Entry Fee: $3.00 each for guild members, $5.00 each for non members, non-refundable, limit 5. Payment link is available on our website (paypall). Checks should be payable to: The Greenville Artist Guild. You may also mail your entry form with fee to:

Specifications: Limit 5 original artworks in all techniques & mediums. Size: 36" x 36 or less before framing. No ceiling installed work.

2D works should be framed, or have clean edge presentation & be ready to hang with tight WIRE across the back. Wires should be located at the top 1/4 of the work. No clip frames allowed. No sawtooth hangers.

Sales: Artists are responsible for their sales. We will send the artists contact info to buyers. If you have a venmo account or another electronic payment method, let us know. Please be available for calls or texts.

Publicity: The Greenville Artist Guild reserves the right to photograph all exhibited works and use submitted artwork photos for exhibit promotion on the web and social media..

Delivery and pick-up: Artwork for the exhibit is to be delivered to the Maves Art Center on Thursday, Nov 20, 10-12 pm (or by appointment) and picked up at the end of the show, Nov 22, 6 pm Exhibited works may not be removed until Nov 22 at 6 pm. ALL works MUST be removed from the Gallery by Nov 22nd. Alternate pickup dates MAY be arranged. Work that is not picked up will become the property of The Greenville Artist Guild.

Deliver: Thursday, Nov 20, 10-12 pm.

Pick up: Saturday, Nov 22, at 6 pm, immediately after the show. Please tag your work on the back with your name and title of the piece.

MEMBERS SHOWCASE,
November 29th, 3-9 pm at the Globe Theater, 2nd floor.

This will be a one night event for guild members only. One piece per person, any size. Bring your own easel, there will be tables available for sculptural pieces and ceramics. Please email: thegreenvilleartistguild@gmail.com to let us know you will be participating.
