“A Breath of Fresh Air”
Annual Spring Art Exhibit
An open call for submissions from area artists in all mediums.
Like a quiet revelation,
a breath of fresh air can open the doorway to creation.
Through that door lies the promise where ideas become art.

Gallery Hours: Friday 12-8pm, Saturday 12-6pm
Eligibility: Open to all artists18 years and above.
Jurors & The Jurying Process:
Our juror is David Ottinger. MFA Kansas City Art Institute. Judging is done by electronic photo.
Please crop photos so that only the artwork is visible (no frames). High resolution JPEGs only, please. Title each JPEG file to correspond to image # on the entry form using the following format: yourlastname_image#.jpg. Works selected for exhibition that are not accurately depicted or have been altered may be removed from the exhibit at Juror’s discretion. The Juror’s decision is final.
Notification: Notification of accepted work will be sent on May 16th by email or phone.
Entry Fee: $5.00 each piece for members, $7 each piece for non members. Non-refundable, limit 3 entries. Paypal code for payment is: paypal.me/grnvillartistguild. QR code is on our website. Checks should be payable to: The Greenville Artist Guild. Submit fee with entry form, mail to:

Specifications: Limit 3 original artworks in all techniques & mediums. 2D works should be framed, or have clean edge presentation & be ready to hang with tight WIRE across the back. Wires should be located at the top 1/4 of the work. No clip frames. No sawtooth hangers.
Sales: No commission will be taken on sales. Artists will be notified and sent the contact info of interested customers or QRcodes/Venmo codes placed with work.
Awards: First prize: $75. 2nd: $50. & 3rd: $35. People’s Choice: $25. Honorable Mention: $10.
Publicity: The Greenville Artist Guild reserves the right to photograph all exhibited works and use submitted artwork photos for exhibit promotion on the web and social media.
Delivery and pick-up: Artworks juried into exhibit are to be delivered to the Bradford Community Room on May 21st, 10-12 pm, or by appointment. Please label all work on the back with your name and title of the piece. All work must be picked up at the end of the show, May 23rd at 6:00 pm. Exhibited works may not be removed until May 23rd. * ALL works MUST be removed from the Gallery by May 23rd. Alternate drop off and pickup dates MAY be arranged. Work not picked up will become the property of The Artist Guild.
